The Annual Bow Hunter Championship will be conducted by Bow Hunters of Alabama at the American Deer Hunters’Exhibit in Birmingham. The targets will be three-dimensional animal targets. Contestants will be asked to shoot from various positions.

Archers may enter any of the following classes.
Red Stake - 50 yards Max: Open A, Unlimited (pin sight required), Senior Advanced.
Green Stake - 40 yards Max: Open B, Bowhunter A (no arrow restrictions).
Women's Advanced, Senior Bowhunter (100+ grain screw in tips), Young Adult - ages 16-18 (No restrictions).
Blue Stake - 30 yards Max: Bowhunter B (100+ grain screw in tips) Women's Bowhunter (100+ grain screw in tips) Juniors - ages 13-15 (No restictions) Traditional (All).
Yellow Stake - 20 yards Max:Youth - Ages 9- 12 (No restrictions) NASP Class (Genesis Bow, with No sight - required).
White Stake - 10 yards: Cubs - Ages 8 and under (No restrictions).

For class determination with an age requirement, A shooters class will be determined by their age as of the date of the BHA state Championship August 19, 2006.

Registration will begin at 5:00pm on Friday and ends at 3:00pm on Sunday. The awards will begiven at 5:00pm on the Sunday of the Exhibition.The first round is $10.00 and additional rounds are $5.00.
