Join us at the 26th Annual World Deer & Turkey Expo in Birmingham on July 17,18 &19 2009, for the 2009 Men’s Top Bow Indoor Shooting Series! This event will test the archery skills of the best bow hunters in the country. The Shooting Series targets are life-sized, full color, three - dimensional deer that are electronically controlled. They come into view in several natural habitat settings, presenting the range with targets that suddenly appear at distances from 10 to 60 yards. The shooter has several seconds to make a decision on whether or not to shoot. Occasionally, antlerless deer will pop up, or an unsafe shooting situation will appear that should be recognized as a no-shoot situation. Each deer target is computer controlled from a scorer’s platform, and will fall only when the 8”by10” hit sensor pad located in the vitals area is penetrated with an arrow. This event will be televised and is limited to the top 40 bow hunters who have pre-qualified. Over $65,000 in cash and prizes will be given to the top 10 places. One of the Grand Prizes is an ATV.
